Govt launches e-extension service

GOVERNMENT has launched the long awaited e-extension service which will enable farmers countrywide to access relevant agriculture information through their mobile phones.

Agriculture and Livestock Minister Wylbur Simuusa launched the e-extension in Lusaka when he commissioned the new Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) office complex situated in the Lusaka Show grounds built at a cost of K 20 million.

Speaking during the launch, Mr Simmusa said the Government was delighted with e-extention service as well
