By JAMES KUNDA –

PHOTO modelling, is unknown to many but, people like Jane Mwale in Ndola are determined to market the industry and make it more popular among Zambians.
Jane is barely two months old in the photo modelling industry but she has already claimed fame by appearing in a local magazine, the Zambian Traveller.
“Photo modeling is different from cat walk modelling because it simply requires one top post decent photos of them online or go for a photo shoot,” she said in an interview with Times Entertainment.
She says the interest to become a photo model was generally inborn and people with this in them should not hesitate to pursue their gifting.
Jane said she is also looking at establishing a group comprising of upcoming local models to promote photo modeling.
Mwale, who is a diploma student in Early Childhood, said that she also has an interest of becoming a gospel artiste.
She said her interest to sing began at a tender age, while at Sunday school and today, she has released a hit single titled Umutima Wandi.
“The song has received an overwhelming response, especially from followers of gospel music in Ndola,” she added.
Jane says she also wants to share a little of whatever she has with those in need, especially orphans and vulnerable children.
“My passion for giving to the needy led to the formation of Share the Love Foundation two months ago and whatever is gathered through this initiative is donated on days such as Christmas and New years’ day,” she said.
