THE newly established domestic airline, Mahogany Air, has embarked on an ambitious transformation programme aimed at improving the quality of air travel.
Director of administration Cynthia Belemu has assured passengers that Mahogany Air would continue offering improved service despite going through business turbulence after commencing operations.
She said in a statement yesterday that in appreciating the support received from passengers, the airline had introduced a promotion for this month by giving four free return tickets to randomly selected travellers.
“As a way of giving back to our travellers, besides the many other promotions that our commercial team is working on for the month of September, I am pleased to inform you that we will give four free return tickets to randomly selected travellers in September,” Ms Belemu said.
She paid tribute to the passengers for being supportive and contributing to the growth of Mahogany Air during difficult times and appealed for loyalty as the company ventured into a positive transformation exercise which would help improve the quality of service.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our travellers for the support they have rendered to Mahogany Air. They may have not realised how much they have contributed to the growth of Mahogany Air but their support has been worthwhile.
“They gave us a benefit of doubt and allowed us to take them to their destinations. With their trust, the passenger loads are picking up.
When we started, we would painfully fly one passenger to a destination and the losses were extremely huge,” she said. Story courtesy of SUMA SYSTEMS.
