BRIEF-CASEJAPAN has yet again shown its commitment to the enhancement of the movement in the region by financing the construction of the Kazungula Bridge.

The joint project which has protracted will help to enhance the movement of goods and people between Zambia and its neighbor Botswana.

It is elating to note that the bridge will further help to reduce the transit time from the current 36 hours to two hours thereby greatly reducing on the cost doing business.

Katema right on MultiChoice

BRIEFCASE agrees with Information and Broadcasting Services Minister, Joseph Katema that MultiChoice Zambia should consider reducing the cost of accessing DStv services.

The DStv charges seem to be relatively higher in Zambia as compared to other countries like South Africa and hence the need to adjust them.

Unfortunately, the trend seems to be similar with all multinational entities including the chain stores like Shoprite, Pick ‘n Pay, Pep,

Hungry Lion, and others whose prices of goods are relatively higher in Zambia than in the countries of their origin.
