MTN Zambia has unveiled a communications package for Small to Medium Sized Entrepreneurs (SME) with an emphasis on the development of the sector for sustainable economy development.
The package called SME Biz Pack is a one-stop shop communications solution for SMEs comprising voice, SMS, data bundles and fourth generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) router at affordable rate.
Unveiling the package, MTN Zambia head of enterprise business unit Mark Townsend said all the fundamentals show that the SME sector was poised to provide sustainable economic growth through job creation in Zambia.
Mr Townsend described the SME sector in Zambia as growing, with a lot of opportunities but said the sector still faced some challenges in setting up well-structured businesses due to various concerns.
“To this effect, MTN Zambia has introduced SME Biz Pack, a one stop shop for SMEs’ communications solutions. We are confident that this tool will help SMEs grow in Zambia,” Mr Townsend said.
He said the MTN SME Biz Pack was specially designed to help SMEs owing to its cost-saving features.
He said the pack facilitates increased interactivity, flexibility,inexpensive business transactions as well as improved interconnection with business partners and customers.
Mr Townsend added that the 4G LTE Router will also benefit SMEs, saying 4G technology was the latest technology in the world with the fastest internet speeds, giving clients the most seamless experience in data services.
The 4G LTE is part of a bigger network transformation plan that MTN has been undertaking over the past few years to give its clients world-class broadband services.
The MTN SME Biz Pack is in three packages with the first one containing 67 minutes and 67 SMS for all three users, one free 4G/LTE Router in their office for sharing with 1GB Data.
The second package for five offers 90 minutes and 90 SMS for five users, one free 4G/LTE Router with 3GB Data while the third package of 10 comes with 100 minutes and 100 SMSes, one free 4G/LTE Router with 6GB Data.
