ARMCOR Security Limited has been dragged to court by a filling station in Lusaka for unpaid balance for various petroleum products it supplied to the firm.
Ravasia Petroleum Limited wants the Lusaka High Court to order Armcor to pay it K105, 048. in respect of unpaid balance and interests on the outstanding balance.
Ravasia stated in its writ of summons filed in the Lusaka High Court principal registry that on March 4, 2014 Armcor requested to open an account with it for the supply of petroleum products which the filling station granted.
It said that between May 1, 2014 to September 2014 Armcor drew numerous petroleum products from its station leaving an unpaid outstanding balance of K105, 048.
Ravasia said that despite requests for Armcor to pay the balance, the security company has neglected, failed and refused to pay the balance which was why Ravasia was seeking the intervention of the court.
