A perfect wedding date calls for proper planning so this week let’s look at the technique which can be used to get more done while planning a memorable and stress-free wedding.
The first technique is planning in the morning. Getting up early in the morning is a real struggle for many, what they do not know is that there is gold in the early morning hours and it is also worth the extra effort to establish the “m-a-w-r-n-i-n-g” wedding planning habit.
The early hours are favored for wedding planning, reason being that your head is clearer, fresher and your hands are steadier at the start of the day.
As I mentioned earlier that there is gold in the early morning hours, it is good to learn that men and women who have made it in life are early hour’s workers.
Inquire into the private lives of famous creative workers and freedom fighters what has made them to be the best in all they have and are still doing, it’s all because they have and are still pushing their talents and planning work in the early morning hours whatever the season.
Early rising made the freedom fighters to gain this country’s independence; we are enjoying the jubilee celebrations this year all because of these people who knew the importance of waking up early, whether from a deliberate practice or just natural habit.
It has really unquestionably assisted their climb in the world; it has helped them get more things done quickly and better.
There is an old Chinese proverb which states that if you lose an hour in the morning, you have to hunt for it the rest of the day. Being an early bird is one of the signs of genius, in the early morning the mind is fresh and you are able to think over new ideas which will be best to be added and spice up your memorable wedding.
Starting an hour earlier in the morning may make you an achiever instead of an almost. When you want to select the service providers call them at dawn so that you will know who will serve you better and on time, the one who will pick up the phone call early in the morning is worth hiring.
Early rising does not necessary mean that one gets less sleep or when one goes to bed early at night then it makes up the difference before it is lost. The modern use of electricity has turned night into day for many people include brides and grooms.
They stay up late tired to an extent that they cannot do any planning or anything constructive for the task ahead which is the wedding, instead of retiring at night and sleep so that the minds rest, all they do is waste time enjoying the glamour and entertainment afforded by electric lights, unquestionably they would be more efficient if they got up early instead of staying up so late.
Many brides and grooms want to turn night into day no! no! You will just stress yourself up and lose weight.
Early in the morning is better to go through the budget, guest list, attires, venue and catering, by the time the family members gather for breakfast, the committee members come up with their own ideas, how they want the wedding to take place, you would have broken the back of the day’s work and you would have come up with ideas on what you want on that day.
It’s your wedding remember. When you begin to turn over tomorrow just know that it is time to turn out.
Proverbs 6:9-10(ESV) says how long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber and want like an armed man. Poverty is the richest experience that can come to a man, an experience which however, he advises one to get away from as quickly as possible.
This is how bad poverty is and it’s something you do not want to experience, after learning all this, i have made it a rule in life never to let the sun rise or the birds to wake up before me if I
am to achieve what l want in life, i workup early in the morning where the gold lies.
By doing this, i believe it will enable me to render my country and the world a useful service that is needed and because this will yield me a financial return that will provide me with the necessary material things of life.
The book of proverbs 31: 10:31 ends with a picture of a woman of strong character, (vs. 15) she gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
Early rising for the bride is very important as one will not find it difficult to rise up early once married and will be a wife a noble character worth more than rubies.
Early hours will also help you pray about your wedding and marriage so that everything goes on smoothly, prayer changes all things. When the wedding planning seems dark and miserable do not forget to pray effectively.
Many weddings I am attending of late, the prayer givers who are the couples’ relatives are full of bitterness, and they are commanding enemies to the couples to die.
When they reach this point even the tone of their voices change, in a deep and commanding voice may they die! Holy Ghost fire! Consuming fire! God of Elijah sent fire! The way
this is going on, soon will hear of brigade fire!
The relatives are so bitter about the enemies who are against the marriage, if a weapon was to be placed in their hands, enemies will surely kick the bucket in large numbers, maybe the brides and grooms are also doing this privately, do not leave unresolved issues and then expect them to die before they speak now as they are tamed as your enemies.
The Bible encourages us to love our enemies my prayer for them so that they may live! Done in sweet and calm voice, praying for them to die is not part of my make-up.
My enemies are serving me by keeping me everlasting on the alert, lest some weak spot in my character provide an opening through which they think might damage me and yet what this does is that they also discover my defects and point them out to me, whereas my friends, when they see my weakness they say nothing about them, this is why i say long life to my enemies and i love them, they will not destroy my character, they will serve to strengthen it.
When you plan your wedding with a free mind it will have some degree of accuracy and quality.
The quality helps get more things for the event and in good time. There is an old saying which is very popular, adopted by many “slow but sure”, some of you used it yesterday.
This saying despite being popular is for those people, brides and groom who get nothing done, a night before the wedding, caterers, cake baker, decorator and venue are not yet paid almost everything is not in place.
A “slow but sure” person is the one who has more things wrong to learn over or they keep on making the same mistakes. If you want to have a memorable wedding keep the emphasis on being sure not on being slow, keep the quality up and you will get more things done and done well.
Plan your wedding right and then you shall not have any bad dreams and stress during your wedding planning, the highest form of  stress-free is that internal satisfaction which every bride and groom can get from doing their absolute best and when you do one work at a time you actual do them all.
So let every occasion be a great occasion for you cannot tell when fate may be taking your measure for a larger place. The good thing is that there is no compromise between quality and speed, the former brings speed.
