•PRESIDENT Sata Michael Sata with Dr Kenneth Kaunda and oppositio party leaders at Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

THE Bilical importance of the number three is the power of trinity with Which man was created when God said “Let us make man in our own image”
It is this same number three which has contributed to the late president’s popularity.
While it is true that the late President Sata was involved in three countries namely Nyasaland, Northern and Southern Rhodesia, it is also true that he saved in three Zambian governments namely UNIP, MMD and PF.
While it is true that he initiated the construction three over pass bridges on Independence, Church and Great East roads, it is also true that he renamed three airports after the great freedom fighters.
While it is true that he lost presidential elections three times, it is also true that he has been in power for three years.
While it is true that he empowered Honourable Edgar Lungu with three positions,
It is also true that he suspended three judges.
While it is true that he built three universities in three years in power,
It is also true that he is the three on the embassy park, the presidential Burial site.

Mother Zambia mourns
MOTHER Zambia is mourning
She mourns her fallen sons and daughters
They died of disease burden
Some died in infancy
Others died in old age
They died in air traffic accidents
They died in road accidents
They died in water traffic accidents
Mother Zambia grieves quietly
She cries loudly
Mother Zambia mourns in peace
She mourns with dignity.

Death

You are very bad to anything
In fact, everything living hates you.
Death, You kill people, animals, birds, insects, fish
And whatever is made by these living things.
Death
You are the true enemy of life
Death and darkness are scared of
Life and light, always!
Death
Whenever you strike there is evil,
Fear and confusion everywhere,
all the time.
Death
We know we are born and later we die.
Death
Your master Lucifer now Satan,
People of evil ways, sorrows, sufferings and sin
And grave shall be thrown in the lake of fire,
By God our creator forever.
Death
The separation of body, soul and spirit
The second station from the womb
Taking us to another advanced life in spirit
Death
You cover us with a dark cloud
Wetting us with tears of sorrow and sadness
But beyond your dark cloud comes the great light
And glory of God which dries our tears
And comforts us to forge ahead
Death
The trumpet shall sound
And the Dead shall be raised,
Changed to immortal bodies
On the day of the first resurrection
Death
Jesus Christ our redeemer and victor has overcome,
Then shall we say:
Death you are swallowed up in victory!
O death! Where is thy sting,
O grave! Where is thy victory,
O sin! Where is thy Power,
Thanks be to God our creator and Jesus Christ!
Death
Death, death, please leave us alone in peace
We don’t need you! Out from us!
Oh beloved soul go in peace, escorted by angels of God.

Ode Sata

To a victorious point with less heat,
Pulled the roots of sweat,
When the grass roots provided the ladder,
In a natural born leader
With a bare clenched fist,
You fought and won the fight
We saw the ice melt,
As legs of time before you knelt
The leaves of a bigger tree,
Lost grip and became free,
When the arrow caught the target,
And past failures became history.
In the wake of health hurdles,
The boat sailed in all smiles.
Now, in the palms of heavenly angels,
You are seen resting on your laurels.
Though it may be night in your eyes,
Light shall be the song in our ears.
Yes! Beneath the roots of earth,
Lies the cold hand of death.
