4 injured in RTA

FOUR people sustained serious injuries on Tuesday when the car they were travelling in overturned on the Samfya-Mansa Road.
The four sustained serious injuries with one battling for his life when the Toyota Corolla registration number ACV 2125 they were in had a tyre burst, went off the road and overturned at Matumbusa area in Mansa on.
Luapula Province Police chief Malcolm Mulenga said the car was driven by Edgar Chilufya, 27, of Nkana East in Kitwe.
“The accident happened when the rear left tyre burst and the driver lost control of the motor vehicle,” Mr Mulenga said.
Due to the impact, the driver and the three passengers sustained injuries.
One of the passengers Francis Chileshe, 30, of Kitwe sustained serious injuries and is still admitted at Mansa General Hospital. The car was extensively damaged.
