2007-Head coach Nchanga Rangers.
2008-2009 Head coach at Township Rollers FC in Botswana.
2010-2011 Joined Nakambala Leopards as Head coach.

Ngwenya developed his football talent during social soccer tournaments in 1983, where Inter Township competitions were being staged.
He was recruited by Kitwe United and featured prominently in the Zambia Schools team in 1983/1984.
In 1995, he suffered a career ending injury while playing for Nchanga during the Mosi Cup game against Power Dynamos.
After the fractured leg injury, Ngwenya quit active football and embarked on a coaching career.
In 1997, he successfully completed a basic coaching course with KNVB after which he pursued studies in Physiotherapy two years later.
He attended a coaching course under Horst Wein in 2004 and attained a B license in professional football academy.
NgwenyaNgwenya continued to advance his coaching career and was awarded a level 1 club coaching certificate in 2008 before attending a FIFA course.
He obtained a CAF C license in 2012.
His sons Dickson Junior and Godfrey both play for Kabwe Warriors He is currently coach at Nakambala Leopards.
