By JAMES KUNDA –
THE Ndola High Court has adjourned the case in which Acting President Guy Scott is challenging his demotion in the Patriotic Front (PF) to January 5, 2014, with both parties likely to enter an ex-curia.
Dr Scott in his capacity as PF vice-president last week obtained an injunction in the Ndola High Court, restraining the party from removing him from his position.
Dr Scott also sought to restrain the defendant, either by himself, servants or agents or any superior or member from suspending or expelling or taking any action adverse to his position as party vice-president until the matter was determined.
But when the case came up for inter-parte hearing in Chambers yesterday, the Court adjourned the matter to January 5, to facilitate a possible settlement outside court.
Dr Scott is being represented by Iven Mulenga of Iven Mulenga and Company, while the PF is being represented by Billingtone Mosha of Messers Mosha and Company.
