THE Zambia Air force (ZAF) has urged its officers to maintain discipline and professionalism.
ZAF Air Officer Commanding-Training Command Brigadier General John Sinyangwe urged the officers to remain loyal and discharge their duties well.
Brigadier General John Sinyangwe said this demands that the officers should be non-partisan at all times and carry out their duties diligently as they endeavour to serve the nation.
He urged the officers to continue carrying out their role of defending the country’s air space from hostile air threats and also provision of support to the ground forces.
Brig Gen Sinyangwe said this when he officiated at the ZAF Lusaka Officer’s Annual Ball on Christmas Eve.
He commended Government for the continued support rendered to ZAF over the past 50 years of its existence.
ZAF Lusaka Station Commander Colonel Henry Chiwaya said the officers remain committed to the provision of other military operations such as fire fighting and other services.
Col Chiwaya said as a station, they pledge to work closely with both Government, other security wings and cooperating partners.
