STRIKER Felix Sunzu is back in training after missing Power Dynamos’ CAF 2015 Confederation Cup game against Al Khartoum due to injury.
Power assistant coach Anderson Phiri said in an interview yesterday that Sunzu might feature in Saturday’s Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield semi final against Zanaco.
Sunzu sustained an ankle injury two weeks ago in Nairobi during Power’s 3-nil friendly win over Kenyan champions Gor Mahia.
“So far we have observed him in training and he is steadily recovering. It is a 50-50 situation so what we need now is the final report from the Doctor,” Phiri said.
Phiri also revealed that striker Kobe Chipeta, who also missed the trip to Sudan, was back in training.
“Otherwise everyone who went to Sudan is OK,” Phiri said.
Power will take on Zanaco in the lunchtime kick-off in a semi-final doubleheader at Arthur Davies Stadium. Nkana and Zesco United will play in the other Charity Shield semi-final.
