ACC nabs Kasama youth coodinator

THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Kasama has arrested a Provincial Youth Development Coordinator for failure to declare interest in a matter where he recommended  funding to Parloz Beauty Parlour, a business entity owned by his wife.
Felix Lengwe, 45 of 5A New Town Township of Kasama has since been charged with failure to declare interest.
Lengwe between April 1, and June 30, 2013 in Kasama, failed to declare interest when he participated and chaired the evaluation committee that interviewed and evaluated his wife Gwenny Nyambe’s application for funding under the Youth Development Fund.
According to a statement released by ACC public Relations Manager Timothy Moono, Parloz Beauty Parlour received a loan amounting to K30, 000. 00 from the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
Mr Moono stated that Lengwe is on police bond and will appear in court soon.
