TALKING SHOP 1SHOPPING in Lusaka has become impossible as shop owners are now hanging clothes and displaying household goods in the corridors forcing pedestrians and customers to use the main roads.
Talking shop understands the stiff competition but blocking people from using the corridors to do their errands was unreasonable for the shop owners.
It is important for the Lusaka City Council to enforce the law on street vendors to protect both customers and pedestrians from being run over by moving vehicles.

Luxury Homes has officially opened its store at East Park Mall adding a lot of bright light furniture outlets 50 per cent Zambian and South African of high quality furniture and décor.
This yet another milestone in not providing colour to the Mall but giving shoppers a wide range of selection from which to their household goods.
The flagship store will be located at the newly built East Park Mall on Great East Road in Lusaka.

Markets which sell meals and other foods should always know that good hygiene is meant to secure the lives of customers from contracting diseases.
But is has been noted that Munyaule market on Lumumba Road in Lusaka is failing to maintain good hygiene due to lack of toilets.
Talking Shop again appeals to the Lusaka City Council to conduct vigorous inspections and clump down on service providers that do not respect good hygiene standards as this trend continues to pose a health threat to unsuspecting members of the public using the restaurants in markets.
