POWER Dynamos are in an uphill fight for survival in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup this afternoon when they host CF Mounana of Gabon in a first round, final leg decider at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
Tennant Chilumba’s side face Mounana,  who beat them 4-0 in the first leg on March 15 away in Libreville.
The mathematics are simple for Power but the solution is very difficult as the Zambian side must  score five unanswered goals today to cause a dramatic upset and advance to the last 16 of the tournament.
“We are not under any pressure, we are very positive, we are firmly focussed on playing our football,” Chilumba said.
“With home ground advantage, we will overturn the result and qualify.”
Power will have a full strength team at their disposal for the match including their top scorer in continental action striker Alex Ng’onga who has two goals so far from three games.
However, Power face a Mounana side that enjoys a one hundred percent record in  this year’s competition scoring 12 goals and conceding just one goal from their last three wins.
Mounana are also blessed with the services free-scoring defender Georges Ambourouet who has scored six goals in three games including one against Power in the first leg.
“I think when we score four goals that one can concede two goals away,” Mounana’s Nigerian-born midfielder David Tyavkase said.
“We are prepared for the game and confident of going to the next round.”
Winner over both legs will play victor of the other first round tie involving today’s fixture in Kampala of South African giants Orlando Pirates and Uganda Revue Authority for a place in the pre-group stage of this years to be played in May.
Pirates lead 2-1 from the first leg.
