THE PATRIOTIC Front media mobilisation team has warned Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) president Charles Milupi to stop demonising the appointment of Education Minister Michael Kaingu and Vice-President Inonge wina.
Team member Tobias Kafumukache said Ms Wina and Dr Kaingu’s appointments were on merit and that the duo was a hard working addition to President Edgar Lungu’s Government who would deliver according to the nation’s expectations.
Mr Milupi should stop practicing tribalism of the highest order by demonising the appointments of Dr Kaingu and Ms Wina because they were people of high esteem.
Mr Kafumukache said Mr Milupi should not import tribalism into Western Province because the people in the area had already embraced the President Edgar Lungu.
The appointments were in the interest of the country and that they should not start condemning them in order to gain political mileage.
Mr Kafumukache said PF was aware that the appointments made by President Lungu were a big blow to opposition parties who thrived on tribalism.
“President Lungus appointments are aimed at promoting unity and were in the best interests of the nation,” he said.
The opposition was panicking because President Lungu had breached the tribal gap by appointing people of diverse tribal backgrounds which proved to be a big blow to the opposition who thrived on tribalism.
Mr Kafumukache said President Lungu had shamed his critics who were bent on frustrating his developmental agenda.
It was evident that president Lungu was on track in stabilising the economy because he had attracted over U$1.2 billion from foreign investors in just two months of being in office.
Mr Kafumukache also said it was unfortunate that some people were sabotaging the economy in order to frustrate the President’s developmental programmes.
“It is unfortunate that some people in the private sector are trying to sabotage the economy by hiking the prices of commodities like mealie meal and fuel just to frustrate the president,” he said.
