EVER heard of Divine NONI? Well, if you haven’t NONI is a natural herbal food supplement that supports healthy people to stay healthy always and sick people to become healthy all the way. It contains immune system boosters, protein assimilators, and cancer inhibiting compounds, antioxidants, alkaloids and amino acids.

According to Patrick Banda who is one of the two authorised agents to distribute and supply NONI in Zambia, the Indian NONI cleanses the body at cell level. “If the person takes this product as recommended, the amount of toxins in the body reduces making it difficult for any virus or other causers of diseases to survive in the body system,” Mr Banda says adding that even people living with HIV or those with any type of cancer should be able to improve their health within two  months of taking the supplement.
Mr Banda says once the product finds any toxins, it works on the toxins though the person taking it would initially experience some diarrhoea for about a week or up to 10 days. After this diarrhoea period, the treatment starts. He says the blood is purified and body system cleansed in the process. Even where there is thick blood or cholesterol, the product helps to loosen the thick blood and gets rid of the cholesterol.
Mr Banda, who has been the distributor of Divine NONI since 2011 together with Mr Harrison Phiri, says NONI is working wonders on many people who after using the product, have come back to testify how it has helped. He said one man had problems to pass urine and stool and was put a catheter at a local hospital to use to remove the urine.
He was being treated for advanced cancer. Fortunately for the man he had not yet started going for chemotherapy or any other treatment that involved radiography because this supplement does work well with radiography treatment.
“When I met him, he was in bad shape because he was in pain. When he started taking the supplement on a three times a day course instead of the normal two times, and after taking eight bottles, he even resumed going for work. A number of men who have prostate cancer, blockage of the urinary tract which have become common these days, have their ‘floodgates’ easily opened by the Indian NONI,” Mr Banda says.
He says even problems of stunted growth in children can be worked on just by taking the product as it corrects the growth of the child by ensuring that body systems are aligned with each other.

Others of course complain that at K350, the cost is too much but they forget that health is expensive. Those who come back to say the supplement has not helped them usually have problems of following instructions or they do not take a lot of water as advised. Water drinking is an important component for NONI because for toxins to be removed from the body, one’s body needs a lot of water,” he says.
He adds that the supplement might not always treat some ailments but still has other benefits such as bringing back strength in a patient.
