Kansanshi 1 Buffaloes 0
SUBSTITUTE James Kanynji converted an all-important goal to propel pacesetters Kansanshi Dynamos to a well-deserved victory over Copperbelt Buffaloes to maintain grip on the summit of the FAZ Division One North league table.
The match played in Solwezi saw Kanynji, who went in for Chomba Lengwe, rise to the occasion when he scored in the 35th minute to enhance his team’s chances of maintaining the league leadership.
In this tight encounter, Buffaloes, fought hard to cancel out Dynamos’ slender lead but their efforts could not reap desired dividends, as the home side collected full points to stretch their winning streak to four, out of six matches played and two draws, with 14 points.

Lumwana Radiants beat Chambishi to pile pressure on the top spot. It was a hard fought victory that saw them remain within two points of their cross town rivals Kansanshi.
