PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has appointed an interim provincial executive committee for Western Province.
This follows the dissolution of the Patriotic Front executive committee on March 7, 2015.

PF secretary general Davies Chama said in a statement yesterday that the President had appointed Charles Mututwa as interim provincial chairperson.
The President has also appointed Evans Chipman as interim provincial vice chairperson and Mulenga Tembo as provincial secretary.
Others appointed in interim capacities are Queen Kakoma as provincial treasurer, Max Mbunji as provincial vice treasurer, Mark Siwale as provincial information and publicity secretary and a Mr Papama as vice provincial information and publicity secretary.
Inonge Mubuyaeta is the provincial chairlady and Honzly Mangwato as provincial youth chairperson.
Other members of the committee would be announced by the interim provincial chairperson.
Meanwhile, President Lungu has appointed lawyer Sukwana Lukangaba as Special Assistant for legal affairs at State House.
Until his appointment, Mr Lukangaba was practicing at Mweemba Chashi and partners, a law firm in Lusaka.
