PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary general Davies Chama has urged Members of Parliament (MPs) in the ruling party to explain developmental goals achieved by Government.

Mr Chama said it is important that MPs are more responsive to the needs of Zambians and highlight the achievements that the Government has recorded so far.
Mr Chama said when he featured on a special programme on Feel Free Radio in Chipata yesterday that MPs must visit their constituencies to explain to the electorates about developmental projects.
He said MPs must visit and work with the people if they were to be re-adopted in their respective constituencies in the run-up to next year’s general elections.
He said the Government was committed to continue developing the country and create job opportunities for the people.
“President Lungu is attracting a lot of investors to create jobs for the youths and wants to make Zambia a better place,” he said.
Mr Chama said it was good that the Kwacha had remained stable and this was a good indicator of building confidence in the management of the economy.
He said the PF had embarked on re-organising the party to respond to challenges and put up relevant structures at the grassroots in readiness for the 2016 general elections.
