TALKING SHOP 3SHOPRITE Stores in Kasama in Northern Province is attracting a lot of customers within Kasama itself and surrounding areas such as Mungwi, Chilubi, Mporokoso and Luwingu districts, particularly during monthends as it is the only big shopping centre in the area.
Therefore, management should work on improving staffing levels most importantly at tills to assist pack customers’ items, especially during the peak period.
In the same vein, Talking Shop would like to commend the Shoprite for opening an new outlet in Chililabombwe, thereby expanding their footing in various parts of the country and meeting customer needs.

PEOPLE setting up eateries and drinking places should ensure that toilet facilities are also put in place to better their services to customers.
Talking Shop has observed that almost all eating and drinking outlets in the rural district of Nkeyema, in Western Province lack toilet facilities.
The local authorities should work hand-in-hand with the people operating businesses to enhance compliance and sensitise them on the need to put up these basic necessities.
****************
THE low power voltage being experienced in Luapula Province is causing some supermarkets in the province to sell food stuffs that have gone bad.
