Mr Katongo said the club would soon engage Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company to identify areas which were facing serious water challenges with the aim to render interventions.
He said the project was the club’s long-term vision which would be undertaken in a period of three years and that it was the Rotarians’ hope that once implemented it would be a ‘Gift to the World’.
For this project, Mr Katongo who is former Ndola Mayor said the club was currently in discussions with the Rotary District 7610 of the United States (US) under the strategic water alliance.
The club would also construct a computer laboratory, sink a borehole and build an ablution block at Chiwala Secondary School in Masaiti at a cost of $50,000.
