By GWEN CHIPASULA –

ZAMBIA Under-20 women midfielder, Osala Kaleo will miss Sunday’s Papua New Guinea 2016 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa because of a nagging knee injury.
Coach Oswald Mutapa Jnr said Kaleo would not be part of the team playing the second-round first-leg qualifier against regional rivals, South Africa at Nkoloma Stadium.
Mutapa said this in an interview yesterday after the team’s morning training session in Lusaka.
Despite Kaleo’s injury setback, Mutapa said he had enough players to do a good job on Sunday.
But as Mutapa was being hit by Kaleo’s ‘knockout’, he had some good news after defender Elizabeth Nachivula made a timely recovery from a cut she sustained on her head and was declared ready for the Sunday assignment.
Nachivula, who suffered a deep cut last weekend during the team’s practice match against Chibolya Academy, joined the team in training yesterday.
“Elizabeth joined us in training on Monday afternoon and she has two stitches in her head but she is okay and the doctors said she can play,” Mutapa said.
The South African team is expected in the country tomorrow.
