ZAMBIA Under-20 women coach Oswald Mutapa Jr says the international friendly match against Cameroun will help his team shape up for the Papua New Guinea 2016 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Mutapa said the match against Cameroun would also help him identify new players to draft in the team ahead of this weekend second round return leg clash against South Africa.
Cameroun was expected to arrive in the country last night to set up base en route to Zimbabwe for a Rio 2016 Olympic Games final round return leg qualifier.
Two countries will represent Africa at the finals scheduled for August 3 to 20 in Brazil.
The West Africans are carrying a 2-1 lead over Zimbabwe while in the other qualifier, South Africa were held 0-0 by visiting Equatorial Guinea.
“Friendly games are always important because they will help us prepare for the World Cup qualifiers and also asses new players that we can fuse into the team,” Mutapa said.
Zambia were held to a barren draw by South Africa ahead of the October 10 return match that will see the winner advance to the final round to play either Nigeria or DR Congo.
Mutapa said the team would ensure they score in the return leg to qualify to the next round of the qualifiers and keep the dream of making an appearance at the World Cup alive.
“If we can score one in South Africa then we can qualify to the next round. The girls are prepared for the away fixture. South Africa is a good side having played them and they should not be underrated,” he said.
