Let's face it.We live in a time when truth is in bad taste; when to tell the truth is hate speech; when to avoid the truth is to be politically correct; when to preach salvation through Jesus Christ is to divide society.
This is the time when the re-colonization of Third World nations will not come with gunfire, but the emotional and cultural manipulation where poor nations must obey the will of the powerful West and think in uniformity, think in conformity.
This is the time of global unity in uniformity, no longer unity in diversity. But that unity excludes Jesus Christ and His teachings, and is headed in the direction of one world under one leader, who ultimately is Satan.
This is the time of the revealed rule of Satan, whose worshippers unveiled the first public statue of Lucifer in Detroit, US last July. The message is simple: Satan rules in America, openly and officially. And if he rules there, he rules in other nations too.
Reuters reported on July 26 that the Satanic Temple unveiled a bronze Baphomet sculpture in Detroit before midnight of Saturday July 25 after failing to position it near a monument of the Ten Commandments in Oklahoma.
The principle behind the placing of the statue next to a display of Scriptural references is that the constitution in Oklahoma prohibits the use of state property for the benefit of a religion; and if that happens, Satan might as well be displayed in the very same place.
Some of the Satanists involved have claimed to follow Satan as a symbol and not a person-spirit, which is an unbelievable level of self-deception.
Demonstrations
Due to planned demonstrations, the group, which is opposed to displays of Bible themes on government land, kept the location of the unveiling of its nine-foot-tall (2.74 metres) monument secret until the last moment, when it emailed the information to ticket holders.
The Satanic Temple unveiled the one-tonne statue at an industrial building near the Detroit River just before 2330hrs local time as about 700 supporters cheered: “Hail Satan.” Some of the hundreds in attendance rushed to pose for photos during what Time Magazine billed the largest public satanic ceremony in history.
The statue of a winged Baphomet with a human body and a goat’s head resemble a design the group previously released. Statues of a boy and a girl stand adoring this figure on either side. Modern education and all entertainment platforms have endeared evil and its images to millions of children.
What is The Baphomet? It features the head of a goat (spirit of lust) with the torso, arms, hands and legs of a human being but with the feet (hooves) of a goat. Behind the head is the pentagram, which is a five-point star with the topmost point inverted and two points (horns) pointing upwards (attacking the heavens where God dwells).
Satan worshippers meet this appearance at some point in their (mal) practice. The Baphomet is now the totem of modern day Satanism.
The Baphomet is also expressed in the form of the Satanist il cornuto greeting where the index and last fingers are raised while the two middle fingers are folded, closed over with the thumb. Most who use this greeting in the West think it is a mere indication of best wishes and best regards, which is a matter of ignorance because it is a powerful spell-casting sign.
Jex Blackmore, director of the Satanic Temple Detroit chapter, said temple members planned to transport the sculpture to Arkansas, where earlier this year the governor signed a bill authorizing a Ten Commandments monument on the State Capitol’s grounds.
The Temple had unsuccessfully applied to have the statue placed near a Ten Commandments monument installed in 2012 on the Oklahoma State Capitol grounds. The Oklahoma Supreme Court recently ruled the Ten Commandments monument violates a section of the state constitution that bans the use of state property for the benefit of a religion.
Lawmakers in the socially conservative state responded with threats to seek the impeachment of the court’s justices and pledged to push for changes to the constitution.
Oklahoma governor Mary Fallin, a Republican, said she will keep the Ten Commandments monument in place as the state appeals the decision.
The presentation of The Baphomet in Detroit drew protest from local Christians. About 50 people prayed for the city and denounced the monument outside a business where the Satanic Temple previously tried to display the statue before fears of a backlash scuttled the plan.
“The last thing we need in Detroit is having a welcome home party for evil,” said the Rev Dave Bullock, a pastor at Greater St Matthew Baptist Church in Highland Park, Michigan.
See how Satanists attempt to simplify and make politically correct the worship of the adversary of every human soul: “Baphomet contains binary elements symbolizing a reconciliation of opposites, emblematic of the willingness to embrace, and even celebrate differences,” Jex Blackmore, who organized the unveiling, told Time late Sunday night after the unveiling.
The magazine asks: “In a sense, the statue is a stress test of American plurality: at what point does religious freedom make the people uncomfortable?”
The Satanic Temple has chapters in Florida and Finland, in Italy and Minneapolis. Its headquarters are in New York, but the Detroit office is its first and largest outpost. Blackmore (the name is a pseudonym for safety reasons) grew up in the Detroit metropolitan area and returned to the city to work with the Satanic Temple after attending a lecture on Satanism at Harvard.
Asked whether her group is a religious organization (or rather an anti-religious organization) she explains that it’s less of a church and more of an affinity group, built around what she repeatedly refers to as “Satanic principles.”
The Satanic Temple holds to the basic premise “that undue suffering is bad, and that which reduces suffering is good. We do not believe in symbolic evil.” The group claims not to “promote a belief in a personal Satan.” By their logic, Satan is an abstraction, or, “a literary figure, not a deity—he stands for rationality, for skepticism, for speaking truth to power, even at great personal cost.”
That rationality is the byword for all current popular isms in which man is supreme and self is God; and in which right and wrong are a matter of opinion; and in which criminals are victims whose deeds are rationally justifiable. As much as this blends with Satanist thought, such rationalism is a deception that does not increase liberty but promotes oppression of certain groups by the more influential or powerful.
In the 1995 novel Left Behind, the first of a hugely popular 13-book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, Pastor Vernon Billings, a cleric who teaches everything nicely religious with the exclusion of Jesus Christ, converts to the Messiah after the Rapture in which millions of Christians are suddenly and without warning taken to Heaven.
Lie
At one place he says: “Also, Scripture indicates that there will be a great lie, announced with the help of the media and perpetrated by a self-styled world leader. Jesus Himself prophesied about such a person. He said, ‘I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive’.”
Michael O’Brien in his prophetic 1999 novel Father Elijah unlocks that great lie, portraying a scenario where the Pope and the Catholic Church are progressively despised and sidelined with the help of world media, in a time where Christianity is considered outmoded and a tool of division.
The person who comes in his own name, the Antichrist, wins the adoration and support of the entire international community as he proclaims the demolition of all religious, racial, social and political barriers towards the establishment of the New World Order. It is a time when truth is in bad taste and multitudes drink in the words of the President of the Federation of European States, the rising global leader, in the story.
This man is described in such terms as: doctor, professor, visionary, moderator, author, negotiator, president and even world healer who is “introducing a new civilization for mankind.”
All the teaching and admonition of the Pope and the Catholic Church is gradually and steadily ignored or belittled by a world media system enamoured by the new ideals of the so-called messiah, who in reality is Lucifer Incarnate.
In fact Scripture indicates that in the early stages, the world ruler will be a human being who will be assassinated, upon which Lucifer will enter into his body and raise it. All will believe the deceased world leader has risen from the dead. See Revelations 13.
Let us understand one thing: all the putative unification of humankind’s ideals and religions will play into the hands of the false messiah who will lead the world to its doom. Humankind’s search for a messiah who embodies spiritual, political, economic and military balance and fulfillment will drive all hopes and dreams into the hands of The Beast of Revelations, unveiled in The Baphomet now enthroned in the public places of America.
This kind of messiah is described in The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, the 1982 exploration of messianic history by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln.
In their interpretation of various sources, Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had children, whose descendants are true royalty fit to rule the world. These are the Merovingians who are ancestors of some royal (divine) European bloodlines (Lorraines in France and Hamburgs Germany) who are the true rulers of the world.
Viewpoints on this matter vary. The world will nonetheless accept a messiah of any appealing background because it does not want to recognize and accept that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and there is no other.
Truth
James W. Sire in his 2009 book The Universe Next Door speaks of ‘the death of truth.’ He argues that historians are moving from the idea that the meaning of past events is to be found in their historical context. Historians are now writing history according to what they (historians) make of it, thus taking away objective history as we have known it.
He examines how under New Age (new consciousness) teachings and influence, universities and hospitals in the US now offer alternative healing, integrative medicine and non-ordinary therapies which involve ancient mysterious powers such as demi-gods, demons and guardians.
Sorcerers trained in India under the guise of modern-day medicines have influenced the teaching of modern medical care beyond conventional health practice.
All this is the spirit of postmodernism in which it is argued that there is no known or knowable connection between what we think and say about something, and what is actually there. It is argued that it is not possible for anyone to know anything for certain, and this mode of thought assails human beings in the West at many levels, leading to the death of definite and absolute truth.
The loss and lack of definitive truth leaves a vacuum in the inner person, leading to the hunger for a ‘being’ or ‘person’ that the heart by nature longs to worship. And the one being that has longed to be worshipped and glorified above the Creator Himself is Lucifer.
In June this year, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled that the Ten Commandments monument violated the state constitution.
It is in bad taste to present biblical truth in public; just as it is to carry Bibles on public education premises; just as it is to teach against homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism, and every sexual aberration and abomination.
Now that excerpts from the Holy Bible cannot be displayed in public on state or public premises, it follows that the teachings of the opposite spirit will go on display at such places. If biblical teaching has no place in public institutions of learning, it follows that every contrary teaching will find its established position in such places.
This is the message of the unprecedented public display of The Baphomet statue.
Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson recently signed a bill that will put the Ten Commandments on a similar monument on the grounds of the State Capitol in Little Rock. But since it is Satanic Temple policy to position the image of the evil one right next to such monuments, The Baphomet will certainly be hoisted there and wherever such monuments are in place.
Since biblical truth is in bad taste, it follows that wherever God’s word is proclaimed, Satan will counter it with an intellectually appealing message about the equality of all beliefs, and about righteousness on your terms and at your own pace.
This kind of user-friendly, do-it-yourself Christianity does not challenge you to drop all your sins, repent and commit wholly to Christ and show the fruits of repentance—which is a changed life. This kind of Christianity celebrates all religious teachings and all sexual deviations.
This kind of Christianity encourages people to change themselves, improve themselves and prove themselves as they see fit.
Today the truth is in bad taste.
Delusion
Scripture says in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 that God will in the last days send humankind a strong delusion to believe Satan’s lie which will come in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and come because of people’s persistent rejection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who died and rose from the dead to save us from perishing in an eternal Hell into God’s eternal Heaven.
The Satanic Temple have come out in the open, they will find a permanent position for the image, which is preparation for the Image of The Beast that will be in place at the height of the World Government (Revelations 13, especially verses 14 and 15). Choose life; embrace Jesus and live.
