THE Rotary Club of Ndola  has pledged to continue endeavouring to uplift the living standards of vulnerable people in society.
Rotary club of Ndola president Martha Lungu said the Rotary club is committed to continue helping the vulnerable in society.
Ms Lungu said this when she handed over a wheelchair to Josephine Simwiinga who was involved in an accident and could not walk without being aided.
She hoped that the wheelchair would ease her challenges in movement.
“As we continue uplifting people’s living standards, we are happy to present a wheel chair to Ms Simwiinga who was recently involved in an accident,” she said.
Ms Lungu said that people were found in circumstances beyond their wish and the Rotarians would continue giving hope to such people.
