FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) club licensing manager Eric Mwanza has called for unity in the football fraternity for the development of the beautiful game.
Reflecting on Republican President Edgar Lungu’s call for unity in fostering national development during the national day of prayers on Sunday, Mwanza wrote on his facebook wall that Football House’s doors were open for people with brilliant ideas aimed at driving the country’s football forward.
With campaigns heating up ahead of the FAZ elective annual general meeting next year, Mwanza warned against people who always wanted to anticipate failure never to seek office that way as it did not serve the people.
“Wishing a country to fail, the national football teams to lose and league restructuring and development programmes to fail because you think you can ride on the back of national failure should never be the way to seek office. If you are development-oriented and have brilliant ideas, come forward, doors are wide open,” Mwanza wrote.
