THE coming of new pay television company StarTimes on the market will give its competitors a run for their money by pAroviding affordable and alluring digital entertainment.
StarSat Television sales, marketing and public relations director Ethel Mulenga  said this before presenting decoders to Times of Zambia managing director Bestone Ng’onga in Lusaka last week.
“For a long time Zambians have been denied affordable digital entertainment and we as StarTimes just believe that it shouldn’t be the case,” she said.
Ms Mulenga, however, noted that StarTimes would not market its product single handedly  that is why  it is seeking partnership with media organisations such as the Times of Zambia.
“We are new on the market and we understand that we need partnerships, we need people to help us spread the news and take this product to the market and what better place than you people who are news writers.
Mr Ng’onga said such partnerships were welcome and that Times of Zambia would ensure that the collaboration yields positive results for both companies.
“You can count on us, we can partner in many other areas, we will do what we can within our means to ensure that we complement each other,” he said.
