MTN Zambia has signed a partnership agreement with Total Zambia for subscribers to transact at service stations using mobile money services.
Under the agreement, Total service stations will be able to provide MTN’s mobile money services while motorists will be allowed to refuel by using the service.
MTN chief executive officer Charles Molapisi said there was need to ensure a fast, simple, convenient and affordable way of transferring money and making payments using the mobile money service.
Mr Molapisi noted that MTN mobile money was changing access to banking services to people living in both urban and rural areas.
