Rotary Club of Ndola District 9210 president Martha Lungu said the club raised more than K90, 000 from the tournament which will be channelled toward the less privileged people in society.
“Despite the economic hardships Zambia is facing at the moment, the sponsors turned up to offer us support, we did not expect the overwhelming response that we got and we are so thankful to the corporate world and the teams that turned out for the tournament,” Lungu said.
In a bid to supplement  Government efforts toward improving the livelihoods of the under-privileged, Lungu said part of the funds realised will be used to put up a modern Kitchen at the Luanshya State Prison.
