ENTERTAINMENTWISE, all roads in Lusaka lead to Alliance Française this weekend where star-studded events go non-stop.
The programme kicked off on Wednesday this week with Vitenge Nivatu auditions which attracted aspiring male and female models in Lusaka.
The auditions ran from Wednesday and end on Saturday prior to the Vitenge Nivatu fashion show which runs for one week next month.
Then this Friday Alliance Française hosts artistes at a memorable event that entertainment lovers “cannot possibly miss.”
Saturday is loaded with events, among which is the launch of a gospel music album by Wezi Mhone.
Wezi’s album launch has been scheduled for Saturday evening and would feature Maureen Lilanda.
Lilanda is a celebrated music icon and excellent mentor who has also starred in local movies, Suwi, by Catherine Kaseketi, and Mufaya.
Lilanda has done tracks such as Mumba and Uchenjele.
Jay Rox is another supporting act.
The ragga-dancehall artiste hails from Zone Fam and embarked on some solo tracks, some of which features Wezi.
Jay Rox has done tracks like Joanna and Not for sale.
Jay Rox is bound to rock the night away.
Wezi will also share the stage with Willz, alias Nyopole, whose music has a strong influence from Zambia’s Eastern Province.
Willz is a versatile artiste to watch.
He has sang songs like Toliwe and Nina Lakwa.
Also on stage to support Wezi is Cleo the ‘Ice Queen.’
Cleo is a powerful rapper with a heart of gold who has worked with icons like JK, Kaledosious.
She has produced songs like Big Dreams and Oxygen.
For music entertainment fans, this promises to be a weekend to remember.
