By SAMUEL LUKHANDA –

THE Zambia Rugby Union Coaches Association (ZRCA) annual general meeting that was scheduled for Ndola Wanderers Club today has been postponed.

ZRCA president Innocent Sakala confirmed in an interview that the AGM has been pushed forward to next weekend February 6, because the general secretary Tom Chaloba has a bereavement.

Sakala said the postponement was done to enable Chaloba, who lost his mother, attend the AGM because he is an important executive member and needs to be present.

“Chaloba’s mother died in the University Teaching Hospital yesterday and Chaloba has travelled to Mazabuka to attend his mother’s funeral.

We would like to convey our deepest condolences on behalf of the rugby family to Tom and the family in these difficult times,” said Sakala.

He assured the coaches that the meeting will definitely be held next Saturday and that venue remains the same.
