DEMOCRATIC Front (DF) leader Miles Sampa has confirmed his party’s withdrawal from the Orange Alliance.
Alliance chairperson Elias Chipimo announced at the weekend that Mr Sampa and his party had ceased to be part of the alliance following alleged disputes between the DF and the ruling Patriotic Front (PF).
Mr Sampa however, said the DF remained committed to seeing the nation through to progressive governance and economic development.
He said his party would continue to pursue its vision through seeking partnerships with associations committed to a common agenda for a better Zambia.
This is according to a statement made available on Mr Sampa Facebook page.
“I would like to confirm media reports regarding the DF’s withdrawal from the tripartite Orange Alliance with NAREP and the 4th Revolution party” he said.
Mr Sampa thanked the two parties for their support and wished them well in their future endeavours.
