PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Copperbelt chairperson Stephen Kainga has taken a swipe at Democratic Front (DF) leader Miles Sampa for claiming that he played an integral part to President Edgar Lungu’s victory in 2015.
Mr Sampa on Radio Icengelo recently claimed that he was the one who made Mr Lungu to win the presidency.
But Mr Kainga said Mr Sampa had no integrity for him to claim that he was the one who made President Lungu win elections.
He said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday that Mr Sampa was a wrong person to make such a claim because he played no role.
Mr Kainga said to the contrary, Mr Sampa had been pulling down President Lungu from inception.
He wondered how Mr Sampa made President Lungu win when he joined the campaigns at the very last minute after being left without a choice.
“It is not a secret that Mr Sampa had been opposed to President Lungu from the beginning and that he joined the campaign team at the last minute when he was left with no choice after realising that Mr Lungu was the people’s choice,” he said.
