GOMES at the weekend beat leaders Chambishi to supplant them from the top of  FAZ Division-One Zone Two table, wheretheywere joined by Kitwe United who also won.

Gomes beat Chambishi to dislodge them from the top of the table inthe game played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola to move to 11points at par with KitweUnited, who silenced Indeni via a 2-1 win scoreline at Garden Park.
Interestingly, both leaders have an identical record started from 11 points, to a goal difference of four having both scored eight goals and allowed in four goals.
They have also won and drawn the same number of games and are yet to lose a match,

At Musa Kasonka Stadium in Ndola, Copperbelt Buffaloes sneaked in thethird position with this win over visiting Kansanshi Dynamos that took them to 10points, sameas Konkola Blades, who beat ZNS Lwamfumu by a lone goal, but the soldiershave a better goal difference.

City of Lusaka maintained their lead in Zone One of FAZ Division-One after this five-goal thriller at Woodlands Stadium that took the community side to 13 points.
City’s skipper Jeff Simukwanja netted a brace with goals in the 32nd and 71st minutes while Dominic Mulenshi sealed victory for the team with an 85 minute strike while Lundazi rallied late to score twice but  it was not enough salvage a point.
Other matches saw Riflemen yet again settle for a scoreless draw, this time with Happy Hearts Academy while Petauke United edged Paramilitary 3-1.

Nampundwe seem to have lost all the bearing that saw them almost getting  promoted last season and were this time wired by the Oswald Mutapa tutored National Assembly who went up to thirdposition on the table with 10points.
