PIVOTY Simwanza has reacted furiously to assertions by Football Association of Zambia president Andrew Kamanga that he has been inciting member clubs to reject the reduction of Electoral College and boycott league games.
Simwanza, a former FAZ executive committee member, advised Kamanga to concentrate on sorting out the mess he has put Zambian football in and should desist dragging his name in the mud by fabricating lies.
Kamanga issued a warning to Simwanza and Damiano Mutale saying it was an act of lawlessness for the two to go round clubs de-campaigning a FIFA directive to have the Electoral College reduced by September 30.
But Simwanza said it was unfortunate that Kamanga could fabricate lies that he has been inciting clubs when he has been in China for the past 16 days and challenged the FAZ boss to name the clubs he has incited.
“Tell Kamanga that he has enough problems, I was not there when he was travelling with the team on a pontoon. People are able to see on their own what he is doing, and COSAFA should not put their hands on this issue.

“Kamanga has enough problems of his own, let him not involve me. I challenge him to name the clubs I went to and incited, this is total nonsense for I have better things to do.
“I can even show you my passport; I have been in China for 16 days doing my own business. Let the clubs that I have visited come in the open and tell the people,” Simwanza said.
Simwanza alleged that they were three groups in the FAZ executive committee, an issue Kamanga should be dealing with and not directing his efforts at him.
“Kamanga has a hand full of problems, because his executive has three groups. Let him not pretend for he knows them. Let him discipline them not me. He (Kamanga does not have a big stick to deal with them head on.
“He is just scared of his own shadow and now accusing me of inciting clubs, let him put his house in order, football has gone down, we can’t win games anymore,” Simwanza said.
Simwanza claimed that Kamanga was ‘clueless’ on how to run football and that he has failed to employ his friend Simataa Simataa as general secretary, who could have helped him to run affairs.
He further alleged that Kamanga was not aware that FAZ operates with sub committees and those structures were not in place.
“In fact, I am the one who has to warn Kamanga and not the other way round. He has taken our football 15 steps backwards and people will insult him for not delivering results.
Simwanza added that Kamanga had campaigned against buying Chipolopolo replica jerseys from him but was using the same method to acquire jerseys upon taking over office.
“Kamanga should actually be praising me because I help him, during campaigns he campaigned against my jerseys but surprisingly he is still buying from me,” Simwanza added.
