Warriors 1 Blackpool 0
KABWE Warriors seem to have re-discovered their form under Chintu Kampamba and yesterday picked up their second win in three matches in dispatching troubled Mufulira Blackpool in a lopsided game played at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.
After the suspension of Mohammed Fathy, Warriors defeated Green Eagles and then drew against Nkwazi before picking up yesterday’s win.
It was Lameck Kafwaya who scored the all important goal in the 57th minute that ended all hopes for Blackpool picking up three points from the home town of their coach Matthews Njobvu.
This win, Warriors’ second straight home win, pushes the team up to sixth place on the table with 43 points, five off fifth-placed Green Buffaloes and two better than Red Arrows whom they just eclipsed.
