UNITY Finance has launched an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) mobile application service which will enable its clients save time and effort in gaining accessing to its services.
The new facility will also guarantee transparency and improve service delivery as well as the convenience of access to services.
Company managing director Michiel Le Roux said the introduction of the USSD as a service option was another way that the company was making life easier for its customers.
Mr Le Roux said during the launch of the USSD application in Lusaka yesterday that the USSD application could be used by any mobile user on any Zambian network, free of charge.
He said the application was suitable for both existing Unity Finance clients and prospective clients adding that existing clients could check their balances, amend their personal details, or report issues.
“The introduction of the USSD as a service option was another way that the company is making life easier for its customers, other ways are installing queuing facilities in the branches, corresponding through  SMS and through our world class call centre and introducing mobile applications such as this one,” Mr Le Roux said.
He explained that prospective clients could get information about the company on loan requirements from branches.
“Most importantly, any user can request to be contacted and the Unity Finance call centre will respond to the client in real time,” Mr Le Roux said.
