CHIEF Katumba of the Chewa people in Sinda and Katete districts in Eastern Province has urged his subjects not to sell the fertiliser they receive from the Government under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).
Meanwhile, Senior Chief Mujimanzovu of the Kaonde of Mushindamo district has praised the Government for the speedy delivery of farming inputs for the 2020/21 farming season.
Chief Katumba said in the past some of his subjects, especially men, used to sell FISP fertiliser in Mozambique and spent the money on alcohol.
