Fewer Chipulukusu mothers giving birth at clinic

CHIPULUKUSU health facility in Ndola Central Constituency has recorded a reduced number of deliveries as mothers reportedly prefer delivering from their homes.
Chipulukusu ward councillor Kennedy Phiri said home deliveries or born-before arrivals had gone up leaving institutional deliveries at 48 per cent from the previous 65 per cent.
This was revealed during the District Integrated Meeting (DIM) to review the second-quarter performance data and indicators for the clinic.
