ZAMBIA’S Coronavirus (COVID-19) positivity has sharply risen to 18 per cent as the country records 482 new COVID-19 cases and one death from 2, 675 tests.
According to the Zambia National Public Health Institute’s (ZNPHI) latest COVID-19 dashboard, the 18 per cent is as compared to six per cent posted on Tuesday.
The 482 new cases bring the accumulated number to 314, 641 while deaths now stand at 3, 960.
There were seven new admissions, bringing health facility admissions to 20 while 1, 835 cases were under community management.
Further, eight patients were on oxygen and 42 had recovered.
