FORMER First Lady Maureen Mwanawasa says the death of former Republican President Rupiah Banda who battled colon cancer calls for stronger measures to enhance testing and treatment to reduce the
disease’s prevalence. Dr Mwanawasa, who is Breakthrough Cancer Trust matron says among other issues requiring attention in the cancer fight, is sensitisation on diagnosis and therapy.She called on women and men to make cancer testing routine in order to lessen the intensity of the disease when detected.
