THE Ministry of Health says eight districts out of the total of 116 have recorded over 50 per cent of their eligible population fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Acting Health Minister Charles Milupi said the eight districts were Chembe, Chienge, Luampa, Luangwa, Lunga, Mwandi, Sesheke and Shibuyunji.
Mr Milupi said 53 districts had reached vaccination coverage of 50 per cent and above for at least one dose received and that included everyone who had received only one dose and those who received more than one dose.
