Indigenous tour operators’ body wants incentives

THE Zambia Association of Indigenous Tour Operators (ZATO) has called on the ministry of Tourism to come up with incentives that directly benefit Zambian citizens and local businesses.
Reflecting on the 2022 tourism industry performance, ZATO president Patson Chifumbe said most of the tourism incentives have not had a direct positive impact on citizens and local tourism businesses.
