PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says he is hopeful that various political players in the Kingdom of Lesotho will reach a consensus and implement reforms which the Basotho people yearn for.
President Hichilema said the various engagements the Southern African Development Community (SADC) was having in the mountainous Kingdom would help in reaching an understanding on many issues.
Speaking in the Lesotho capital Maseru yesterday when he met leaders of various opposition political parties in his capacity as chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation, President Hichilema said political leaders must ensure they put the interest of the people of Lesotho first.
