CCPC advises AI consumers

ARTIFICIAL Intelligence (AI) consumers should be aware of its potential threat to their safety and fairness in the digital space, the Consumer Competition Protection Commission (CCPC) has advised.
CCPC inspector Victoria Katongo said among the emerging concerns of AI was the potential threats to consumer safety and fairness in the digital realm.
Ms Katongo said issues such as misinformation, privacy breaches and discriminatory practices were on the rise, raising apprehensions about the impact of AI-driven platforms.
