She said the accident occurred on Sunday around 14:00 hours when the Toyota Spacio they were travelling in registration number ATB 43 overturned along Kisasa-Masele road in Solwezi.
Ms Chanda said three of the injured persons were biological children of the deceased, while two others are relatives aged 14 and 17.
“The deceased, Ms Fumpa was with her three children in the same vehicle and are among those that sustained serious injuries, while the other two are family members,” Ms Chanda said.
She said the car was being driven by Ms Fumpa’s husband who disappeared from the accident scene.
