SUPERSPORT will show live the 2015 COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup that will run from May 17 to 30 in South Africa.

Marketing manager for Southern Africa Marlon Kananda said the Africa pay television channel will beam live all the matches on SuperSport channels SS4 and 9 as countries aim to dethrone Zambia as champions.
“The tournament, in its brief 18-year history, is fast gaining prestige amongst the region’s nations who now consider it a key event in their development and preparation for the gruelling Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which starts immediately after the tournament,” he said.
South Africa’s North-West Province will host the prestigious COSAFA Cup from May 17 to 30. Eight teams enter the first round pool stage, split into two groups, each containing four sides.
The teams will compete on a round robin basis with the top teams in each pool advancing to the quarter-finals.
Group A contains Zimbabwe, Namibia, Seychelles and Mauritius, while Group B has Tanzania, Swaziland, Lesotho and Madagascar. The top six teams according to the FIFA World Rankings will join the fray at the quarter-final stage.
Hosts, South Africa will take on Botswana, Mozambique clash with Malawi, Ghana play the winner of Group B and Zambia await the winners of Group A.
The losing quarter-final teams compete in the Plate competition, with the winners advancing for the championship.
