THE Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena National Executive Committee (NEC) has cautioned members of the public and the corporate world to be wary of people going round soliciting for money purporting that they have been mandated by the Paramount chief.
Ukusefya pa ng'wenaThe Mwine Lubemba, Kanyanta – Manga II, Paramount Chief Chitimukulu has since appointed the Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena NEC to be led by Godfrey Musonda and deputised by Michael Mundashi, SC.
Others are Colonel Nkunga Mulenga as Secretary, Simon Mwila, vice-secretary, Kennedy Musonda (treasurer), Edward Sefuke (information and publicity secretary), Colonel Chanda Sosala (member).
The rest of the members are Andrew Chellah, John Mumba, Wilfred Mulenga, Christopher Kabeke, Brillian Sefuke, Mulenga Kapwepwe, and Maureen Lungu.
Joel Ngo is Northern Province Chairperson while Kingsley Kangwa is Interim Chairperson for Copperbelt Province.
The committee said people masquerading as representatives of the Bemba Royal Establishment soliciting for money and gifts on behalf of the establishment must be reported to the police.
The NEC and Sub-Committee Members with identity cards would be responsible for fundraising and collection of donations nationwide.
“Alternatively, donations can be deposited into Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena Account number: 0272895400139, Cairo Road Business Centre, ZANACO, Lusaka,” the statement read.
